Featured Projects

Featured Projects •

McDonald’s Flagship Store

  • During the construction of McDonald’s Flagship Store, Ozinga poured an innovate concrete mix using CarbonCure which sequestered 30,000 pounds of CO2 in the concrete, equivalent to the CO2 sequestered from a 16-acre forest in 1 year.

Meta’s DeKalb, Ill. Data Center

  • Meta’s DeKalb, Illinois Data Center is an excellent case study for the successful use of low carbon concrete in exposed concrete floors. Three mix designs were used on this project with Portland cement limits ranging from 50% to 83%, with slag and/or fly ash making up the replacement.
