 FAQs

  • After selecting a Captain — a leading construction expert — select a date and time, and sync your payment. You will then receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link, which will automatically be added to your calendar. At the time of your session, simply click the Zoom link in your email or calendar to join the call, ask questions, and receive cutting-edge advice.

  • Most Captains offer sessions in 15, 30, 45, and 60-minute increments, allowing you to select the duration that best fits your needs based on the number of questions you have. Sometimes, even a 15-minute session can provide the confidence you need to move forward with a unique project, novel material, or overcome a problem, potentially saving hours of self-research and/or multiple calls to resolve your problem.

  • You can view prices by selecting “Available Times” on the home page, or at the top of each expert’s profile page.

  • The experts featured on Fortify Fleet were selected for their experience and dedication to constructing stronger, more sustainable, and superior structures. Each of these experts has prior experience with novel materials, as detailed in their profiles under “Featured Projects.” Seasoned professionals, including contractors, engineers, professors, and more, are already making positive changes in their fields every day. However, they recognize the opportunity to exponentially increase their impact by sharing their expertise with a global audience through Fortify Fleet.

  • More and more, public agencies and private developers are imposing advanced material experience requirements as pre-requisites to bidding on their projects. Fortify Fleet can help you get ahead of the competition by building up a portfolio of projects featuring stronger, more durable and low carbon materials. In addition, you can receive a PDF to submit, Fortified Transitional, during bidding that certifies your time spent learning from the leading experts in the business. Participants in our Fortified certification can deliver an advanced certification that verifies a contractor’s supply chan has switched to 50% low carbon material compared to their baseline year.

  • Some experts sell out fast or have no availability. In that case, you will see a “Request a Session” form instead and you can submit your preferred date and time and we will reach out to the expert on your behalf.
